Pride Kick Off Party with the LBGT Caucus & Obama for America

Pride in Piedmont Park
What: Visit your favorite LBGT Activists and friends at the LGBT Caucus/Obama For America Booth for Information and Election Materials
Where: Booth Y15 – that’s YELLOW 15
When: Saturday & Sunday, October 13 & 14
Time: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

Annual Pride Parade
What: March with the LBGT Caucus and Obama team in the 42nd annual Pride Parade. This is so much fun, you don’t want to miss it. I have rainbow feather boas for the first 8 folks who show up! Dress as fabulously as you can. Seriously-go for it!
When: Sunday, October 14
Where: Formation at the Marta Civic Center Station, look for the Obama banners (Section G) it’s so crazy-so you will probably have to call one of us to find us. We have a parade car, so if you need to put stuff in while you march, that’s fine. Our car is already full of riders tho.. so sorry about that.
Time: we will begin to assemble about 10:30 am.
Step off is 1:00 PM SHARP! Yes, it takes that long to herd all the cats.
Route: The Parade will step off from the Civici Center MARTA Station. The parade merges off Ralph McGill onto Peachtree Street and Travels north. It then turns east on to 10th Street and follows 10th Street to the Charles Allen Gate entrance of Piedmont Park, where the Parade officially ends.

Atlanta Pride is 42! almost as old as me.
Thank up to EVERYONE who made Pride fabulous. Great energy out there.
