About DFI
I won't kid you, Democratic Fashion Institute (DFI),
began as an off-the-cuff joke I made in 2004. I was commenting on Blog
for Democracy about some Democratic fashion disaster or another and started to refer to my organization as DFI.
Yes, I have a fashion school degree and spent 15 years in the biz, but am not a designer or fashionista. This blog is meant as an educational service to anyone who wonders what is appropriate and stylish when running for office, or leading an organization.
Running for office is hard, but there is no excuse to look bad while doing it. Have a question, fashion dilemma or need some advice? Please leave them in the comments and we'll take it from there.
