Did you hear Sunday's announcement of major league baseball's All-Snub team?
Co-headlining the roster: Jair Jurrjens, with the sixth-lowest earned run average in the National League at 2.73, and Javier Vazquez, eighth at 3.05, along with a second-best 130 strikeouts.
Coming out of the bullpen: Mike Gonzalez, limiting hitters to a .159 average.

Never mind that the Braves boast the fourth-best ERA in the league. The only Atlantan named to the All-Star team was the guy who catches them, Brian McCann. (Guess he gets all the credit.)
Neither Braves starter was chosen because each has a losing record, two games south of .500. Don't the voters know that win-loss is more a reflection of team play, while ERA is all on the individual?
Gonzalez? OK. Relievers are accustomed to getting screwed because starters are the glamor guys, even though many adjust poorly to one-inning gigs on All-Star night. The game is suited to relievers and too few are chosen.
But the Braves should be rep'ed by a starting pitcher maybe two. The voters and the NL struck out.
