While wondering if Georgia players will wear dog tags to honor Uga VII (left) or if the interim Uga needs a win against Georgia Tech to get invited back next year, seems the Bulldogs are in a scary spot Saturday.
Not that Kentucky is imposing, especially with quarterback Mike Hartline out. But the Wildcats run the wildcat offense effectively -- shouldn't they, given their nickname? -- and can hold the score down.
Willie Martinez's defense did well, after a dreadful start, against wide-open Auburn. Buttoned-up Kentucky presents a different challenge -- figuring out where its able ball-carriers are headed.
Georgia has tamed the Wildcats 11 of the past 12 years, which makes the Dawgs vulnerable to overlooking them. They are in between rallying to a heart-palpitating win over one rival (Auburn) and salvaging their season against another (Georgia Tech).
If the unthinkable happens, don't place the outcome in the major upset category. Great teams can look ahead, or behind, and survive. Georgia is not a great team.

"Georgia has tamed the Wildcats 11 of the past 12 years, which makes the Dawgs vulnerable."
Does this make any sense to anyone?
What an ugly son of a bitch.
May God have mercy on its soul.
"Georgia has tamed the Wildcats 11 of the past 12 years, which makes the Dawgs vulnerable to overlooking them."
Ah, makes sense now. I wish Florida whipping our ass every year makes them vulnerable to overlooking us. Heh. Somehow, this rarely happens!
